Your first stop! Come in and check in. Say "hi" to Bill. Pick up some literature on local attractions. If it's chilly outside you can warm up in front of our fireplace. Sit on the porch swings and enjoy the view while you connect to our wifi.
Yes, we do! RV sites too! There are 24 cabins of various sizes located at the resort, and one large cabin down the road in Tin Cup. There is a playground for the kids, and we have bikes they can ride. A shower house is available as well.
Our outdoor fire place is a great place for families or groups to congregate. The big, grassy open space is perfect for getting together. Cozy up with loved ones and enjoy the heat of a warm fire, or add charcoal and a grate to cook for a crowd.
While day time temps are usually mild, nights can get cold at this elevation. On cloudless nights there is an amazing array of billions of stars. Free fire wood is provided, along with fire pits or fire rings at the cabins and RV sites.
We are nestled in a valley at 10,000 feet above sea level, with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountain tops. Our sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, and you can't beat the night sky for viewing the stars. You may even see some moose while you're here.
World Class Fishing abounds in this beautiful mountain lake, and the creeks that run into it. Boat rentals and guided fishing tours are available at the Marina, which is just two miles from our front door. Taylor River, just south of the dam is a great fishing spot as well.
Historic Tin Cup is in a class of its own. Be sure to visit the General Store and grab a cold beverage, snacks, and some souvenirs while you visit with the locals. For a unique experience, visit the unusual Tin Cup Cemetery just down the road.
Take a drive on our scenic roads and discover sights you never imagined. passes and roads are only suitable for ATV's, trail Jeeps, motorcycles, bikes and hiking. Explore Tin Cup Pass, Cumberland Pass, Cottonwood Pass, Taylor Pass, and many more.
There are thousands of miles of trails to explore, and so many spectacular sights to see. Bring your own quad to our Ranch and ride it out the front gate. No need to haul it down the road first. ATV's can be rented nearby if you want one and you're up for the challenge.
Come in for great food, good company, and some local history. Don't forget their famous Tin Cup Pie! Kids 12 and under love fishing for trout in the pond out front. Be sure to make reservations for their Friday night Prime Rib and other delicious specials.
Need more thrills and adventures? Try your hand at white water rafting and kayaking. Three Rivers Outfitting in Almont can get you on your way down the Taylor River. They offer a variety of packages that encompass all skill levels.
If trail riding is your thing, there are several places on both sides of the mountain that can get your butt in the saddle. The views are amazing, and the adventure is open to families or individuals. Enjoy the ride!
Between Almont and Taylor Park you can rock climb to incredible heights in beautiful Taylor Canyon. There is easy access to 151 named climbing routes in the middle of Taylor Canyon, just up river from Harmel's Ranch Resort.
Just 30 miles down Cottonwood Pass there are 5 steaming mineral pools to soak in at the Cottonwood Hot Springs and Spa. You can even get a massage and do a little shopping there. There are hot springs at Mt Princeton as well.
The sign says it all. Get your fishing license, rent a boat and some fishing gear, get some grub, and enjoy the majestic beauty this place has to offer. You might even catch a record sized trophy fish while you're there.
Worship services are held on Sunday mornings. This picturesque little chapel is located in Tin Cup. In addition to Sunday Services, they also host community dances on Friday nights. All are welcome.
